Dr. Leach’s practice has a commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your companion. He has built a team of skilled veterinarians who offer a diverse set of services and special interests, so that we can help your pet live the longest, healthiest life possible.
Dr. Leach’s family holds a legacy of keeping animal companions healthy since 1933, when his father began his practice as the first veterinarian on Cape Cod. While observing his father throughout childhood, Dr. Leach nurtured a natural talent and his love for vet medicine. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University for his undergraduate degree. Then he studied reproductive physiology at the University of Massachusetts before attending University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his VMD. Since then he has gained both clinical expertise in a hospital setting and field experience at racetracks, even serving as a veterinarian for a Kentucky Derby horse in 1984. He loves treating all conditions, but his special interests include cruciate surgery, chronic ear conditions, and lameness in geriatric patients. Dr. Leach has practiced both equine and small animal medicine for three decades and is very proud to offer quality care from a family practice on Cape Cod. He now lives in Marstons Mills with his family and pets, all of whom have a unique role in helping to develop and operate Leach Animal Hospital.
Dr. Jennifer Narbonne, MRCVS, grew up on Cape Cod and is a lifelong award-winning rider. She attended the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK to obtain her veterinary doctorate degree and is currently a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. After graduating, she worked at the highly competitive Fairfield Equine in Connecticut, where she specialized in horse lameness. Since then, she has returned to Cape Cod to establish Full Circle Farm, her own horse boarding, dressage training, and equine rehabilitation facility. Dr. Narbonne has worked with Dr. Leach since 2008, balancing work between operating her farm and practicing companion animal medicine at Dr. Leach’s veterinary hospital. She lives in Harwich with her husband, two young daughters, and a large assortment of canine, feline, and equine pets!
Dr. Angela Jasper, DVM, CVA, began working at Leach Animal Hospital in February 2016. She grew up in New Hampshire. She is also certified in Reiki. Dr. Jasper has spent time in horse research and medical care at the highly regarded Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, she has worked many years in small animal practice, and offers treatments to small animals through her own holistic veterinary practice. Dr. Jasper is married, lives in Mashpee, and loves to garden, hike, and cook. She has a cat named Loki and recently adopted a rescue greyhound named Dahlia, who loves to laze around in the office and charm every visitor with her lovable antics. (Dr. Jasper’s heavily missed longtime greyhound companion, Dizzy, is pictured here.)
Dr. Jodi Preti grew up in Middleboro, MA. She obtained her undergraduate degree in science and chemistry at Stetson University and her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree at the University of Tennessee.
